About KWO
Stuff that religious types expect to see
on a Christian website
It is against the basic principles of
Kingdom Way to engage in activities loosely defined as "spirited theological
debate." We offer our own views on this site, and every visitor has the option of
accepting or rejecting them. It ends there. There is plenty of space elsewhere on the Web
for the viewpoints, arguments, and rants of those who are inclined to disagree.

This Week at Kingdom Way
Sounds of the Spirit
 |
Bask in the worship
music that characterizes the sprit of Kingdom Way. Look for a new
track each week. Prepare your own mind and spirit to receive
refreshment from the hand of God. |
What is the purpose of spiritual music?
Music is one of the most potent "spiritualizers"
known to man. We use music here to prepare your spirit for a visit with Him.

This Weeks Sermon

Read a sermonette from the virtual pulpit of Kingdom
Way. You will find a new presentation every Sunday morning.
What is the purpose
of preaching? Of sermons?
Preaching is intended to connect our
minds and spirits with the plan and purpose of God. In its purest
form, preaching is a spiritual experience ... not an intellectual or
emotional exercise.

Ask the Pastor
Every Sunday, Pastor Dave answers a different question that
is submitted by visitors to KWO. You can study the week's question and answer, and
even submit your own question for publication.

Leadership question
from a new pastor:
"Pastor Dave,
We have just
started a new church and have only two members at this time. They have
had a spiritual mother in the past before joining our new church. Should
they still follow the direction of another who does not hold an office
in the Kingdom of God?"
The quick answer is "no." But let's suppose
this is more a matter of spiritual ignorance than outright rebellion on
the part of those members. And if that is the case, careful teaching is
more in order than is rebuke. Do a teaching on the meaning and
qualifications of the five-fold ministry of Christ's Body (Eph 4:10-12).
Do another sermon on the awesome responsibility of the pastor (Heb
13:17).
I don't know if you are a new pastor as well
as the pastor of a new church, but I can promise you this: This is
just be beginning of woes for you. Unlike self-appointed spiritual
gurus, such as meddling "mother" you mention, you do not have the luxury
of choosing to work with people who make you feel good and rejecting
those who cause your grief. As a pastor, you must have open arms for
every soul God sends your way.
We are praying for a fruitful ministry,
health and spiritual strength for you and your family, and Godly wisdom
all around..
This Week's Bible Studies
 |
Read a brief Bible teaching that will
help guide your reading and scripture meditation for the entire week. |
What is the purpose of these
Bible studies?
There are all kinds of different ways to
approach the study of God's Word to mankind -- the Bible. Some
approaches are very academic, some are very spiritual, and most are
somewhere between. The Bible teachings presented here are
intended to familiarize you with the main features of the Bible and
all the stories and incidents that carry special spiritual meaning.
