Mission Statement

The mission of Kingdom Way Online is to encourage people to work out a living, personal relationship with God and all His creation.

Statement of Faith

We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the revelation of God's nature and his will for all mankind, and the final authority for Christian faith and living.

We believe in one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is wholly God and wholly man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures, and rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Father.

We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify Jesus Christ and to instruct and empower the believer for godly living and service. Further, we believe in the functioning of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, in proper order and for the benefit of the local church and the Body of Christ at large.

We believe that man was created in the spiritual image of God but has fallen into sin and is, therefore, lost in spiritual darkness. Restoration of spiritual life is attained, however, by the inworking of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that water baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances to be observed by the Church during the present age.

 

Basic Doctrines

Without doctrines, there can be no direction. On the other hand, the practice of developing too many doctrines tends to enslave God's people, rather than free them. Jesus came to this earth and sacrificed himself on the cross to free us from the bondage of sin and death ... not to create more religious duties. At Kingdom Way Online, we adhere to the fewest possible number of doctrines — to those few principles that are absolutely necessary for separating Christians from religions, cults, and trendy spiritual fluff. As a result, the people of Kingdom Way are able to experience the unparalleled levels of freedom and nearness to the Spirit of God that Jesus intended. This is the gospel of Jesus Christ truly coming alive!

The few essential doctrines of Kingdom Way Online are defined in the Apostles' Creed. Although some of the teachings and activities at Kingdom Way might seem new or unusual, the foundation of the Apostles' Creed is nearly 1,975 years old and accepted without reservation by the entire community of responsible Christians.

IRS Tax Status

Kingdom Way Online does not claim the 501c3 tax-exempt status that is set aside for churches and other religious, non-profit organizations. We could, but we don't. We pay our taxes like everyone else--just as Jesus did.

This means that donations to KWO are not tax-exempt. But that isn't a real problem because KWO doesn't solicit donations, anyway. So any question about the IRS status of Kingdom Way is meaningless.
